NATHAL® method causes our brain to work in an unusual way.
The NATHAL®® method has the following key effects:
- Left and right hemisphere now work
- Brain waves and frequencies, which are normally assigned to different states of consciousness, occur simultaneously.
In 1985 the Institute for Communication and Brain Research, Stuttgart, already determined and proved the above-mentioned effects with the help of an advanced EEG spectral analysis.
In this way, he explains under which circumstances “ingenious ideas” come about with the NATHAL® method. During the NATHAL® training, brain waves were measured which, according to Haffelder, usually only occur in people with extraordinary abilities/talents. This is a synchronous activation of theta and delta areas.
Brain activity is defined by the voltage fluctuations (frequencies) of the brain waves, which are made visible with the help of the electroencephalogram (EEG). For this purpose, the frequencies occurring at certain points on the skull are measured and recorded.
The following frequency ranges and states of consciousness are distinguished:
Beta range > 13 Hz: awake state, astonishment, fear, control
Alpha range 8–13 Hz: Relaxed concentration, high information processing capacity, suggestibility
Theta range 3–8 Hz: fantasy, dream, REM sleep, plastic memory
Delta range 0. 5–3 Hz: Deep sleep, trance, extrasensory perception
The EEG measurements on the subject group proved that during a NATHAL® session all four frequency ranges are indeed linked and the brain hemispheres are synchronized simultaneously (see Figures 16,17,18).
This state is probably the (partial) physiological equivalent for the independence from space and time as well as for other extraordinary states of consciousness.
