The Nathal® method makes it possible to grasp and feel the feelings, thoughts and behaviour when dealing with people from different cultures.
Due to the advancing globalization, contacts with people from other cultures are rapidly gaining in significance. This applies both domestically and when travelling abroad, both privately and professionally. In addition to important international business contacts, intercultural friendships, partnerships and adoptions are almost commonplace in the private sphere. The correct handling of the taboo topics of other cultures is important here.
In the professional field, completely different criteria are to be considered than with contacts on vacation, where naturally a certain looseness and relaxation prevails.
In the exercises the following topics are considered:
- Behaviour at work when the employer/supervisor is a foreigner or the subordinate comes from another culture.
- Transfer abroad, mutual manners, prejudices, code of conduct and taboo subjects,
- Marriages/partnerships with foreigners, adopted children of foreign origin, observing verbal and non-verbal communication. The design of argumentations succeeds better when an emotional approach is realized.
